We’re from Montreal and travel to Toronto for vacation and randomly want to this restaurant in Scarborough. I had to say this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant that I’ve ever tried in Canada, as far as I experienced my whole life. I highly recommend everyone to try their signature dishes such as: Bun Long Doi & Cha Ca La Vong. We’ll be back here next time when we had a chance to come to Toronto again.
Try their Bun Rieu and Nem Lui, was good, The restaurant is big, the staff are friendly and helpful. Saw lots of people recommend the Bun cha ca la vong so will definitely come back for this.
I read many recommendations about La Vong fish cake on Vermicelli so I came to try it today. It's really delicious and unique. Worth it. The staff is very enthusiastic and friendly.
Amazing food, great portions. New place so when we went there was a grand opening promotion. The broth in the pho was really good, probably one of the best I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of pho and have been to Vietnam before. The broth has just the right flavours and was not salty, it was just flavorful. We drank it all up. The spicy lemongrass and the bun dishes were also great and good. The service was great, very attentive to us. Edit: Reading some other reviews about lack of flavour/bland, I think that if you are expecting heavy salty flavours than maybe you might not notice the subtlety and nuanced delicate flavours that makes the meal feel almost homemade, at least the pho broth in particular in my opinion.
I have tried lots of pho and this one is very refreshing! The broth is light and flavorful, grilled pork is perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes are generous. I could eat a lot of this... Would recommend you try for sure. Bonus points for a relaxing atmosphere and running water feature
The best and most authentic Vietnamese cuisine in york region. The spring roll is really delicious! Highly recommend :) I love the house of noodle too! People should know this place !
I knew about this restaurant through our Vietnamese community because it was a new Vietnamese restaurant in town. My first impression is that the restaurant is big and clean, staffs are friendly and nice. I tried few dishes like “Bun Cha Ca”, “Cha Gio” “Bun Cha Ha Noi” and “Bun Cha Ca La Vong”, all of which came out very quickly, were full of topping and looked yummy. “Bun Cha Ca La Vong” is one of my favorite food there ( I guess it’s number #45 on the menu) which is fried fish served with green onion, dill, vermicelli and shrimp dipping sauce ( the sauce is delicious). Highly recommend you to try it. It’s very good. I already recommended it to my friends and I will definitely come back!
First time come here. I'm impressed with the atmosphere here: clean and alot of air. The food didn't disappoint me. I try with Pho and the taste is so good. Staff very friendly that I feel comfortable as home. They also have some special dishes which come from Northern Vietnam that I don't remember. My partner come with that. That so delicious too. Thank you for your service. I will come so frequent.
